Brent brings over twenty years of experience in real estate finance, specializing in origination, financial analysis, underwriting, credit approval, processing, closing, and funding. Throughout his career, he has reviewed thousands of loan applications and assessed real estate properties totaling over $50 billion. Despite his extensive experience, Brent remains humble and practical.
Brent's background at esteemed companies like American Express, CBRE, Prosperity Bank, and Cadence Bank formed the building blocks of who he is today. Since earning his BBA in Finance from SFA in 2001, Brent has closed over 500 transactions, encompassing thousands of single-family homes. His expertise has earned him a reputation as a trusted figure in the mortgage industry.
Brent reflects on his career: "As a bank employee, I frequently had to deny loan requests due to strict credit requirements. I often had to say no to people, even when I believed they deserved a loan. This led me to start considering alternative options such as CREF."
